So Globe invited the four of us to share our experiences of last year’s screening process of Singtel’s undergrad scholarship program.
I was surprised to see that the number of qualified applicants was roughly double the number when compared to last year’s. And their energy was just… wow! Very receptive audience and the host was enjoying it. Some stuff had changed with regards to the requirements for the program, though. NCAE results and transcripts since first year high school were needed during application. Plus, I heard that DLSU isn’t going to be the only school that they’re gonna visit in search for this year’s scholar. If this is true, gee, it’s gonna be one tough competition this year.
Anyway, I’m going to the part when the mic was passed on to me. Kidding, I wouldn’t delve into those details because I was lame! ‘Kikiligin ka sa atay’ was my opening point. My god, I totally suck in public speaking! Thank God I’m good at writing. Heehee.
Went home after the orientation because I didn’t want to get caught in traffic. Though, I have to say, I can’t get over the fact that they said they might invite us to the assessment to help around. Sounds like fun to me. 😀
